Super One Foods and our Flying Aces supporters were proud to sponsor Susan Dacy and her iconic biplane, "Big Red," at this year's Duluth Air & Aviation Expo, held on July 5 & 6 in Duluth, MN.
On July 3rd, Miner's Inc. was honored to welcome Susan Dacy to the Miner's Inc. corporate office for a special meet and greet ahead of the Duluth Air & Aviation Expo!
Susan's passion for aviation began at a young age, inspired by her family's deep ties to flying. Her father served as a B-24 crew chief during World War II, and after the war, he transformed land in Illinois into an airport operation that remains family-run to this day. Growing up surrounded by airplanes, Susan knew early on that she wanted to pursue a career in aviation.
She became a pilot and spent nearly 40 years flying for American Airlines, operating both domestic and international routes. In addition to her impressive career as a pilot, Susan also performed at regional airshows for many years, sharing her love for aviation with audiences across the country.
We are grateful to have had the opportunity to connect with Susan and support her incredible performance at this year’s airshow. Her story is an inspiration, and we’re proud to help bring world-class talent like Susan Dacy to our community.
