Miner’s Inc. Continues Commitment with Annual Gift to the Damiano Center

Posted: 2025-12-08

Miner’s Inc. and the Miner family are proud to continue their long-standing partnership with the Damiano Center in Duluth. For many years, Miner’s Inc. has made an annual $10,000 contribution to support the Damiano Center’s Kids’ Kitchen Program, a vital resource that provides meals and a nurturing, safe environment for area children.

Each year, the visit to the Damiano Center is a meaningful moment for our team. It’s an opportunity to connect with staff, hear firsthand how their programs are changing lives, and witness the compassion that fuels their work. Programs like the Kids’ Kitchen offer a safe, welcoming space for children to get a warm meal, but also provide support not only for youth, but for their families as well.

The partnership between Miner's Inc. and the Damiano Center spans decades. What began in 1982 as a soup kitchen has grown into a powerful network of services that meet real needs across the Duluth area. Today, the Damiano Center offers several programs, including the Community Kitchen, Free Store, Summer Food Corps, Clothes That Work, and more, each program meeting individuals where they are at and strengthening the community in remarkable ways.
The Damiano Center’s work reflects compassion and dedication to those it serves. Our team was incredibly grateful to visit The Damiano Center again this holiday season and provide support to their mission.
