Ashland Super One Foods Celebrates Completion of Store Reinvestment Project

On Wednesday, January 7, Ashland Super One Foods proudly celebrated the completion of a major store remodel with a ribbon-cutting event, marking an exciting new chapter for the store and the community it has served for more than a decade. The celebration brought together the Ashland community, the Ashland Area Chamber of Commerce, dedicated team members, and valued vendor partners to recognize this important milestone.

During the event, customers were invited to enjoy food demos, shop for super savings throughout the store, and enter for chances to win prizes. As part of the celebration, Miner's Inc. was also proud to present a $1,000 donation check to three local nonprofit organizations, Faith in Action, the School District of Ashland, and The Brick Ministries, reinforcing the company's long-standing commitment to supporting the Ashland community.

Ashland Super One Foods has been part of the community since April 2012, when the grocery store first opened its doors. That commitment expanded in December 2014 with the opening of Ashland Super One Liquor. For more than 14 years, the Miner family has been honored to serve Ashland as a trusted neighborhood grocery and liquor retailer, delivering Low Prices & Better Choices while remaining deeply rooted in the local community.

In 2025, that commitment was reinforced through an extensive six-month reinvestment project at Ashland Super One Foods. The remodel began in March and was completed in August 2025, bringing customers an enhanced shopping experience and providing the Ashland store team with an updated, more efficient work environment designed to better serve shoppers.

The renovation included a number of significant upgrades:

• Expanded store space with the removal of the former bank area
• A new main entry vestibule and doors
• Brand-new luxury vinyl tile flooring throughout the store
• Relocated and enhanced front service counter
• Relocated checkout stands to improve customer flow and access
• New energy-efficient refrigerated cases in the deli and produce departments to promote an enhanced variety of products with additional holding power
• Rearranged grocery shelving for a fresh, modern layout with enhanced product displays and merchandising
• Freshened up paint and décor updates
• New HVAC and refrigeration systems for improved efficiency and comfort

Miner's Inc. extends a sincere thank you to its loyal customers for their patience and continued support throughout the remodel, as well as to the facilities team and work crews whose dedication allowed the project to be completed with minimal disruption to store operations.
